Under the Bridge

Homeless becomes a dire issue in USA. This project focuses in Los Angeles, California. This problem intensifies during and will worsen after the pandemic. Rent is high in Los Angeles whilst everyone faces pay cut, layoff, and low pay. Clothes, food, shelter, transportation are the basic needs of human beings. Everyone is subject to attain those. It is human rights. We shall help them and not simply driving them away from the city. Without benevolent, we are nothing comparing to animals.

Lots of homeless gather and stay together under the highway bridges. Their tents cannot shield them from the weather, and they offer no protection. Through architecture, we can utilizes these uninhabited areas to build shelters to offer a simple home for them to stay. Some rooms can offer training or consultation program to help them return to the society.
